Guide
Elite Trainer Box vs booster box vs booster bundle: which should you buy?
An Elite Trainer Box gives you packs plus sleeves, energy, dice and a storage box, which makes it perfect for new players and gifts. A booster box gives you the most packs for your money. A booster bundle sits in between: just packs, no extras.
Elite Trainer Box (ETB)
An ETB includes a set of booster packs and the gear you need to play: card sleeves, basic energy cards, damage counter dice, condition markers, a player's guide and a sturdy box to store your cards. It is the box we suggest most often for someone starting out.
Booster box
A booster box is a display of packs from one set and usually the best value per pack. It suits players building decks from a set, and people who love opening packs.
Booster bundle
A smaller pack only product. Great when you want to open a few packs without paying for accessories you already own.
So which one?
- First box or a gift: Elite Trainer Box
- Most packs for the money: booster box
- Just want to open some packs: booster bundle
- Want one specific card: buy the single, it is almost always cheaper
